This is a (clustered) bar chart about Microsoft at work. The horizontal axis shows the years, the vertical axis shows the number of problems. The different colours indicate the different problems, pink means bugs, light blue means security holes, dark blue means backdoors.
In 1998 there were 2,200 bugs. In the following year their number doubled, then after a slight decline it dropped below 1,100 to grow high again in 2002.In 2003 it was still hogh, then dropped to its minimum, about 600 in 2004. The number of security holes was quite high in the first three years, then after a decrease in 2001, and a drop in 2002 it soared again to reach its highest point over 4,400 in 2003. It dropped to its minimum, about 1,800 in 2004. There were about the same number of backdoors, a little more than 2,200, as bugs in 1998. Then the number went up high to come down gradually in the following three years. Then after a slight increase in 2003 it went back to 1,300 in 2004. All in all, there were a lot of changes during this period, but most problems occured in 1999, while 2004 was a relatively problem-free year.
A következő típus a pie chart:
This is a pie chart about pie preferences. The pie is divided into five segments, each of which indicates a type of pies. The biggest segment is apple, with 36%. The second biggest one, pumpkin, is only 6% smaller, so these two segments make two-third of the pie. Cherry, pecan and coconut cream make up one third, of which cherry is the biggest with 23 %, the other two have only small percentage. All in all Apple, pumpkin and cherry pies are very popular, while pecan and coconut cream pies are not so popular.
Itt egy összehasonlítós körgrafikon:
A címe: How did people go to work
These are two pie charts about how people went to work in 2000 and 2005. Both pies are divided into five segments which mean the different means of transportation, namely car, taxi, bus, train and on foot. In 2000 most people went to work by bus, 40%, followed by car and train transport, 30 and 27%, while only 3% of the people went to work by taxi and nobody walked. Bus transport is still the biggest segment in 2005, but it is 10 percent bigger than five years before. 50 % of the people travelled to work by bus.Travelling by car disappeared absolutely, it is a drop to zero. There was a little, 3%, growth in train transport. There was no change in the taxi segment, still 3% of the people went to work by taxi. And 17 % of the people walked to work in 2005. All in all, there were a lot of changes, mainly in car transport and walking, but also in bus transport.
